KARNNOS

 

Founded in 1999 by A. Guerra and J. Aernus, Karnnos navigates between the past and the present,  between dreams of Celtic clarividence and  reflections on human nature. Karnnos combines folk/darkfolk elements with an exploration of different sound sources and ambients ranging from ambient to doom-folk, creating a unique tapestry of melancholic poetry.

WOLFSKIN

 

Wolfskin is J. Aernus personal project, an emanation from the deepest collective unconscious. Metaphysical reflections, echoes from the past, a spiritual journey in the form of sound. 

Dark-ambient, post-industrial landscapes with transmuted shards of Portuguese traditional music, mainly from the Northern lands.  

IURTA

 

Iurta is a collaboration between J. Aernus and A. Coelho (Sektor 304, Sparagmos, Metadevice). Inspired by the works of artists such as J. G. Ballard, A. Tarkovsky or Stanislaw Lem, Iurta explores themes of alienation, mental breakdown and isolation in a dystopian world. Neural dark-ambient transmissions.
